The requirements have been defined by the HDE (German retail Association) and FDE (Federation of Enterprises and Distribution).<\/p>\n<p>The IFS is based on the recognized quality management standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2008, and includes the principles of good manufacturing practice (cleaning, disinfection, pest control, maintenance and training) and HACCP.
